As usual, scroll down if you want to skip the chatty stuff and just see our
current dance schedule.

What do ancient Babylonia, clocks, and Bob Nicholson in 2007 have in common?
Come find out at a special dance to honor Bob on Friday, January 26th. If
you have been to more than a couple of our dances, chances are Bob knows
your name. Current and past president of the Syracuse Country Dancers, Bob
has been a mainstay at our events for at least 20 years. He is a skilled and
thoughtful caller well known for his unfailing patience with newcomers --
and he is occasionally patient with experienced dancers as well. ;-)  Bob is
unstintingly generous with his time and effort, and ever willing to take on
any task for our organization. He is consistently diplomatic with everyone
who interacts with him, and approaches every situation with his
characteristic easygoing good humor. Please come and show Bob how much he
means to our dance community. Superb music that evening will be provided by
George Wilson and Tom Hodgson on fiddle and guitar. Bob will do some of the
calling, and some of his friends will call also. Expect surprises . . .
