CONTRA PROM...and MORE! **
Friday (that's right, not Saturday), April 3:
United Church of Fayetteville
8-11 PM $7

  The seventh annual (!) Contra Prom. We think that we may have the  
only contra dance prom in the nation. This event started years ago  
when some of our younger dancers came to the organization and  
requested it. This same group has kept the prom alive and thriving for  
years. Sarah VanNorstrand, one of the originators of the concept, is  
now calling for the event, and with music by the Great Bear Trio you  
just know that you will have fun! All ages are welcome, and all sorts  
of prom clothing is encouraged, from t-shirts to tuxes, worn skirts or  
blue jeans to prom dresses. Expect the best in decorations and  
refreshments.

**The Fiddler's Association will be meeting at United Church of  
Fayetteville Friday afternoon and evening.  The two organizations are  
dove-tailing our events, welcoming fiddlers to try the dance, and  
dancers who fiddle, to join in the jamming!  Don't let shyness keep  
you from added fun!
